SCOPE
PCI was engaged to convert an open base building ground floor into a fully functioning radiology practice, with 2 x MRI machines, 2 x CT scanners, 2 x X-ray machines, 1 x Mamography, 1 x Nuclear Medicine and 5 x Ultrasounds. Structural steel beam supports were installed underneath the existing slab to accommodate the loads imposed by the 2 x MRI machines. Lead and RF magnetic shielding was installed as required, a new wall layout was provided, the internal fit out included the installation of new medical grade joinery, feature ceilings, floor and wall finishes, fixtures and fittings, a new power supply to service the floor was provided and services were specialised to suit the requirements of the new imaging equipment, equipment room, control room and all office and patient areas.
