SCOPE

The scope included to repurpose the old council chambers into a state-of-the-art Medical Centre. The project involved the total gutting of two floors totaling 4,000 square meters. The exterior façade and windows were all removed leaving only structural columns and slabs. Concrete floors were cut out to create an open atrium effect and a lift shaft installed to service the first floor. The exterior façade was completely rebuilt with double glazed windows and fire rated Alucobond. The interior fitout consisted of a fully operating Imaging department, Operating day surgeries, Dentistry, Specialists rooms and general GP rooms. 6,000 square meters of carparking and landscaping were also completed.
